I started Mode Sensors together with my two co-founders Martin and Gøran in 2016 with the idea of bringing new wearable technology to athletes, because of our former athletic backgrounds (road cycling and soccer). We are now currently working on bringing innovative hydration monitoring to healthcare, but really excited to take this idea to the consumer market as well, with lot of potential.

Jon Carder
CEO
Portrait of Jon Carder
Jon Carder has been building companies since the age of 12 when his hot dog stand got shut down by the police for not having a food permit. It's been a wild ride ever since. He's scaled 5 companies, hired hundreds of employees, pivoted, bootstrapped, raised $100M in venture capital, and sold 3 companies. This entrepreneur lifestyle took its toll, and by his mid 30's Jon was having trouble with energy, brain fog, and sleep. Jon found the process of testing his levels and optimizing his body incredibly expensive, time-consuming, and frustrating. So he set out to create Vessel, enabling people to take control of their health and wellness at home with an easy test card and app that give you results and recommendations in just minutes for around $10 per test. His mission is to empower people around the world to improve the way they feel and reach their full potential.
